One of the gravest casualties of the 10 year U.S. led war in Iraq is the destruction of the country’s cultural heritage.
 In the beginning of the war looting or illegally obtained cultural artifacts happed and no one has an idea of where they went to. They also wanted to remove any remaining symbol of the old government.
